Hardly into his first thousand days on November 22, 1963, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot, while his motorcade made its way through the streets of Dallas, Texas.
Born in Brookline Massachusetts on May 29, 1917. He graduated from Harvard University in 1940, and entered the navy. He was assigned to a PT boat. His boat was sunk by a Japanese destroyer. Despite his injuries he lead all of his fellow navy men through dangerous waters to safety. |

When he came back from the war he became a congressman for the democratic side. He married Jacquelyn Bouvier on September 12, 1953. In 1955 while recovering from a back operation he wrote his book, "Profiles in Courage," which won the Pulitzer prize for history.
Kennedy almost got the democratic nomination for vice president in1956. Four years later millions of people watched his televised debates with Richard Nixon, and winning by a slim margin, Kennedy became the first Roman Catholic President. |

His Inaugural Address offered the injunction, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Set out to redeem his campaign as President, he lead the country on its longest expansion since World War II; he launched plans for a massive assault on "Pockets" of poverty and prevention of crime.
He wanted America to continue on its mission as the first nation to be dedicated to the revelation of human rights. Soon after his inauguration, Kennedy permitted a group of Cuban exiles to invade their home land. He was overthrown, by Fidel Castro.
After the assassination of President Kennedy, Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested by the Dallas police, and charged with murder. November 24, two days later, Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby, a Dallas night club owner. | ![]() |
President Johnson, on November 29, gave orders to conduct a thorough investigation of the death of Kennedy headed by Chief Justice Earl Warren. The warren report, given to the public on September 27, 1946,showed that they found no evidence of a conspiracy in the death of Kennedy. Which concluded that "the shots which killed President Kennedy and wounded Governor Connaly were fired by lee Harvey Oswald." Though in 1979, after two years of investigation, the "House assassination committee "concluded that Oswald was probably part of A conspires that might have been members of organized crime.
Their is another theory ,that I think is interesting, of an umbrella man, used as a distraction in the assassination of the president. the umbrella man opened his umbrella and closing it serial times fast, to signal the other gunman to shoot. After the shots were fired he and a man beside him walked off in different directions, never even questioned.
Their is also a theory that the umbrella man used some sort of poisoned dart to stop the president from ducking to miss the deadly second bullet. CIA. agents were working on a new type of dart or poison gun. The were making one that was in the form of an umbrella, that was fired when the umbrella was opened. Dduring the investigation they found a small hole in the front of Kennedy's esophagus, suggesting that he was shot or darted some how.
