            Reinhard Heydrich was a major part of the Holocaust.  He grew up around music and became a great violin player.  As you read this through this website, you will learn about his life.  <<Reinhard Heydrich
                   Bruno Heydrich, Reinhard's father was a very prejudice man.  He was a German nationalist and a famous German opera singer.  He wanted Reinhard to become an opera singer too, but his singing voice wasn't good enough. So he taught Reinhard how to play the violin instead.
                   There were rumors spread that Reinhard was a Jewish.  It all started when Bruno's mother got re-married after her husband died.  The man she married had a Jewish name, well in those times his name was Jewish.  Suess was the name of the man she married.
                   Reinhard was tired of being teased about being Jewish, so he hired researcher's to prove that he was not Jewish, and they did prove that he was not Jewish.
 
                   He was born in Halle an der Saale, Germany on March 7, 1904.  His full name was Reinhard Eugen Tristan Heydrich.  He was born into an elegant home.  He was teased ALOT when he was a little boy because he had a high pitched voice until he grew up.  He was also teased about his height because he was so tall.

Tall, blonde, and slender, Reinhard Heydrich was a very competitive athlete.  His favorite sport was fencing.  He was very good at it too.  He had blonde hair and blue eyes, in other words, he was Aryan.  Reinhard received his high school diploma in the spring of 1922.  He joined the Nazi Party in 1931, at the age of 27.  It was his wife that had suggested that he join the Nazi Party, and he listened to her by joining.
                      "The Blonde Beast" and "Hangman Heydrich" were two of his nicknames given to Heydrich by Adlof Hitler when he joined the Nazi Party.  He was an airplane pilot as well as a Nazi.  He also specialized on learning signals and communication as a Naval officer.
 
                 He got married to a Nazi Party member, Lina von Osten.  He was forced to resign his Naval commission in 1931 because he refused to marry the daughter of a shipyard director after he hooked up with her.
 
                 They had two children together.  The godfathers of the first child, Klaus, were Himmler and Ernest Rohm.  No one knows what happened to the boys after the War ended.   <<Reinhard and his first son, Klaus
                   He was know for drinking alot.  One night when he arrived home after a night of drinking, he turned on the light and looked in the mirror.  He grabbed his gun and shot two shots at the mirror and uttered, "Filthy Jew!"
 
<<Reinhard's car after the accident May 27,1942, Reinhard was almost killed.  He was slowing down to round a sharp turn and he was shot at be Czech's.  They also threw a bomb at his car, which exploded.  Some how he got out of his car and started shooting at them.  Himmler sent over his own personal doctors, but Reinhard Heydrich died on June 4, 1942 from blood poisoning.
