As you all know
Adolf Hitler was a
very cruel man. He was the head of the Germans for several years. |
Hitler was born on April 20,1889
in Braunau am Inn. His father died on January 3, 1903 and then his
mother on December 21, 1907. Hitler was homeless for four years
after that (1909-1913). Then in 1914 through 1918 he fought in
World War 1. The war ended with German defeat on November 11,
1918. Hitler joined the German Workers Party in 1919. The
NAZI party was formed in 1920. He was named the leader of the NAZI
party in July, 1921. On November 8, 1923 he tried to overthrow the
government. |
On February 26, 1924 he was on trial for treason. He was arrested
that day and he started to write his book "Mein Kampf"
or
"My Struggle" while in his jail cell. He was sentenced
for 5 years but only served 9 months in which he dictated his book to
Rudolf Hess. The book was known as the NAZI bible. By 1939 it had
sold over 5 million copies and was translated into 11 languages.
He stated in his book "by defending myself against the work of the
Jew, I am fighting for the work of the lord [p.60]." This book was
published in 1925. |
In 1932 Hitler
ran for president. And on January 30, 1933 he was named chancellor
of Germany, and on March 23, 1933 he became dictator of Germany.
He boycotted Jewish shops on April 1, 1933 and Dachau opened in the
spring of 1933. Hitler became Fuhrer on August 2, 1934. He hosted
the Olympics in Berlin, Germany in the summer of 1936. He revealed
his war plans on November 5, 1937. In February 1938 he became army
commander. Hitler was named Man of the Year on September 29, 1938.

Hitler thought
pretty heavy of himself. Here is some of the stuff he thought of
himself: "I follow my course with the precision and security of a
sleepwalker." "I feel that no one in German history is
as equipped as I am to bring the Germans to the position of supremacy
which all German statesmen have felt the deserved but were unable to
achieve." "I carry out the commands that Providence has
laid upon me. But if the voice speaks then I know the time has
come to act." "Of secondary importance is the training
of mental abilities. Over-educated people, stuffed with knowledge
and intellect, but bare of any sound instincts. These impudent
rascals who always know everything better than anybody else. The
intellect has grown autocratic and has become a disease of
life." "Do you realize you are in the presence of the
greatest German of all time." "I cannot be
mistaken. What I do and say is historical." "For
the last twenty-four hours I was the supreme court of the
Germans." "I am one of the hardest men Germany has had
for decades, perhaps for centuries equipped with the greatest authority
of any German Leader...but above all, I believe in my success. I believe
in it unconditionally." "I shall never make such a
mistake I know how to keep my hold on people after I have passed
on. I shall be the Fuhrer they look up at and go home to talk of
and remember. My life shall not end in the mere form of
death. It will, on the contrary begin
then." |
This is what the
Germans thought of Hitler: "When I had first met him his logic and
sense of reality had impressed me, but as time went on he appeared to me
to become more and more unreasonable and more and more convinced of his
own infallibility ands greatness." "His oratory used to
wilt his collar, unglue his forelock, glaze his eyes; he was like a man
hypnotized, repeating himself into a frenzy." "We
believe in Holy Germany! Holy Germany is Hitler! We believe in
Holy Hitler!" "Hitler's word is god's law, the decrees
and laws which represent it possesses divine authority."
"There has arisen a new authority as to what Christ and
Christianity really are-that is Adolf Hitler...is the true Holy
Ghost." |
Unfortunately Hitler survived an assassination attempt led by Claus von Stauffenberg
on July 20, 1944. About a year later he married his long time
mistress Eva Braun, who tried to hang herself after a rift with Hitler in
1927. They were married on April 29, 1945 and they both committed
suicide the very next day. Germans remembered him as the
Psychopathic God. To Hitler power was everything.
