Some of the many far out items generally found in peoples homes were ban bag chairs or lava lamps.  Lining the floor, usually, was shag carpet.  Candles and incense burners kept their homes smelling good.  Black lights and lamps on chains  (that hung from the ceiling) were groovy accessories in rooms.  Posters hung on the walls, particularly PeterMax posters.
