Auschwitz Death Camp The Auschwitz death camps started in 1939. There were four parts to Auschwitz death camps. There were Extermination camps, Labor camps, Transist camps, and concentration camps. Auschwitz was the worlds 2nd largest Jewish graveyard. On September 1, 1939 Germany invaded Poland. All four death camps of Auschwitz belonged to the SS 2nd. Up to 12,000 Jews murdered per day. Most finances the Jews had to pay. Hitler listed 363,211 Jews murdered in August – November in 1942 because they didn’t pay the finances. Over the gates of Auschwitz is a sign that says Arbeit Macht Frei and it means work will set you free. The finances were so high that the gas chambers were very useful and easily to use. 1.5 million people died at Auschwitz. Victims of Auschwitz starved and suffered because they didn't pay their finances. One eyewitness of Auschwitz is Dr.Miklos Nyiszlian. He witnessed 3,000 people gassed then piled up and burned. There were 1.5 million Jewish children murdered. He witnessed Two more than 1,200 Jewish children being saved because of Shindler stood between them and their deaths. The wall of death in Auschwitz is where people were killed. He witnessed Irena Shindler saving over 2,500 Jewish children by smuggling them out of Auschwitz Camps. The first death camp Hitler made in 1933. On April 16, 1945 slave labors in Buchwald death camps were started. The camp system grew to 100 other death camps. The camps of Auschwitz were being taken over and captured. There were 100 camps divided into two other camps death camps, and concentration camps. The Auschwitz death camps are about Jewish people being taken out of their homes. After Germany invaded Poland the SS took over Auschwitz. Then the SS took over all four camps of Auschwitz. Finally it all stopped on January 27, 1945.
