| Robert Nant Jr., 61, and Robert Nant Sr., 81, had never met until about a year and a half ago. Robert Nant Sr. didn't know that his girlfriend was pregnant, his girlfriend was sent to a concentration camp and gave birth to Robert Nant Jr. a few months later. A few months after giving birth she died, Robert Nant Jr. was left alone in in the world, He didn't know that his father existed. After the liberation of the camp Robert Nant Jr. spent many years looking for his father, he finally found a phone number for a Robert Nant, he called and Robert Nant Sr. was not there. His wife received the message and was in so much shock that she did not give the message to Robert Nant Sr. A few years later Robert Nant Jr. tries again, this time succeeding and getting Robert Nant Sr. The two men met and talked about Robert Nant Jr.'s mother and how they hoped to be family members. The two took a DNA test and as it turns out Robert Nant Jr. is indeed Robert Nant Sr.'s son. |
