| Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt Germany on June 19, 1929. Anne's parents came from respected German families. Otto, Anne's father had been an officer in the German army during world war two. Anne's family and the other residents were in the secret annex for two years. The annex is crowded and they have to be extremely careful not to be seen nor heard. |

| Anne kept several diaries in her stay at the secret annex . Anne's father Otto Frank survived the diary .the franks already had a place in mind ,an annex of rooms above Mr. Franks office at 263 Prinsegracht in Amsterdam. The Jews were only allowed to shop between the hours of 2-5, Jews must wear a yellow star , and hand in there bikes. |
| The family went into hiding July 1942 followed a week later by another family ,the van Pels. The van Pels had a 15 year old son Peter van Pel Anne kept many diaries during her hiding time .In them she described her life in the secret annex ,her fears ,her dreams , they were all written in her diaries. |
| If the Franks or the van Pels were discovered the Nazis will arrest them .during the two years in hiding Anne kept several diaries to write her feeling s in during the holocaust . |

| Fearful for there lives the franks begin to prepare to pack there bags for going into hiding Anne, the first things she packed was the diaries her hair curlers and one or two dresses. At approximately 10am August 4 1944 the Franks worst nightmare came true. A Nazi ,police men and several Dutch officers. |
