| Hitler Youth isn't a sports club, or a league for pre-military training. It's a group that was made for young Germans to be able to gain Militarized training and so they could develop better understanding and obedience towards Nazi Ideology. Hitler once said "My program for educating is hard. Weakness must be hammered away. In my castles of the Teutonic Order a group will grow up before which the world will tremble. I want a brutal domineering, fearless, cruel youth. Youth must be all that. It must be bear pain. There must be nothing weak and gentle. The free, splendid beast or prey must once again flash from it eyes... That's how I will eradicate thousands of years of human domestication.... That's how I will create the New Order." | ||||
| A man named Baldur von Schirach was the head of Hitler Youth from 1931 to 1940. He once said "It is my guilt, which I will have to carry before God, and the German nation, that I educated the Youth for man who, for many years, I considered impeccable as a leader, and as a leader, and as head of state; that I organized, youth, just as I did. It's my guilt that I educated German Youth, for a man who committed murder by the millions!!" | ||||
| Jew Hatred. Jew Hatred was absorbed through HJ, or Hitler Judgend through the activities and training. When they grew-up they became agents of the "Final Solution" murderers conviction. | ||||
| Hitler Judgend is for the group of boys, when they turn 14, to go to become eligible for promotion. Hitler Judgend means Hitler Youth formations for boys of age anywhere between 14 and 18. Jungmadel is for Girls from age of 10 to 14, to take part in the Jungmadel group. Girls age between 14 and 18 became the Bund Deutcher Madel. | ||||
| Girls in Bund Deutscher Madel were forced to think of obedience, performance of duty, discipline, self-sacrifice, and physical self-control. The goal was to get all women to become mothers of genetically healthy children, that would educate. | ||||
| Hitler once said "The weak must be chiseled away. I want young men and women who can suffer pain. A young German must be as swift as a greyhound as tough as leather, and as hard as Krupp's steel. | ||||
| Membership of Hitler Youth was at 100,000 by 1933. By 1936, membership grew to four million people. But, Hitler youth was only founded in 1926. So, it took ten years to get to four million and seven years to get to 100,000. So Hitler Youth probably wasn't very popular at the beginning. Probably the first 2 or 3 years were the hardest. Yet by 1935 60% of Germany's youth switched to Nazi Ideology. | ||||
| In 1930, Hitler Youth was taken over by a man named Ernest Roehm. Roehm was murdered and then Hitler Youth was taken over by Baldur von Schriach. Whenever war came into place, when too many soldiers were down they sent people from the Hitler Youth. At one of the wars, Hitler Youth totaled up to 8.8 million. The resolution of the problem (not having enouph people in Hitler Youth) was resolved by lowering the age of people. The originally had to be a certain age, now that certain age is lower. So say they had to be at least ten, Now they could be say... seven or eight. | ||||
| Alfons Heck was a student of Hitler Youth. He is a sentance that he wrote in his diary while actually being IN Hitler Youth. " Far from being forced to enter the Ranks of Jungvolk, I could barely contain my impatience and was accepted before I was quite 10." People had to say " Heil Hitler" at least 50 to 150 times a day. | ||||
