He stayed in Vienna till 1903. While he was
there his two best friends were Jewish. And the three people who
bought his paintings and sketches were Jewish art dealers. He
volunteered for the German army. during war he volunteered for very
dangerous missions. He became a dispatched runner which is where you
have to go do something at the front line. He got the iron cross for
bravery. In October 1918 he was blinded by chlorine gas. He was sent
to a hospital to get better while he was in the hospital Germany
surrendered. Then he fell into a deep state of depression, sometimes
he could not stop crying. |

| He became an officer and they also used him as a spy
so one day he went to spy on a meeting of a group called the
German's Worker's Party. He found out the party had a lot of ideas
like his own like dislike of the Jewish race. In September 1919 he
joined the group, it changed it's name to the National Socialist
German Worker's Party (NSDAP). In July 1921 he became chairman of
the group. In September 1921 Hitler was sent to prison for 3 month's
for being a part of a mob that beat up people. After he got out of
jail he formed his own army called sturm or also known as the brown shirts.
He gave them the symbol of the swastika. |

| On November 9,1923 General Ludendorff and
Hitler led 2,000 brown shirts to take over the Bavarian
government. They marched through Munich. They went into a Beer
Hall in Munich and shot at the roof. And then marched on they
were meet by police they fought for a while then all the brown
shirts including Hitler ran away. Later Hitler was arrested
and was sentenced for five years. during his time in jail he
wrote Mein Kamph or My Struggle. He was released in only nine
months of his sentence. |

| Hitler began elections and in 1932 he
became Chancellor of Germany. He got rid of senior
officers and replaced them with Nazi supporter's the
(Gestapo). By 1934 he had all the power's of state under
his control. In 1937 unemployment went from 6 million to
1 million. Hitler tried to make life so unpleasant that
they would emigrate to a different country. So Jews
couldn't go into certain places like restaurants, colleges,
and they couldn't marry out of there race. A lot of them
left the country. On the 9-10th of November 1938 Crystal
night or Kristallnacht began Jewish stores and Synagogues
were burned. Polish Jews were dropped of at Poland borders. After
this many Jews left the country. after being in power he
broke part of the Treaty of Versailles by forming an
army, and sending troops into
Rhineland. He took over Austria then he took over Poland
then he shared land with the Soviet Union. Then
Operation Barbarossa or taking over or invading the
Soviet Union. The rain and snow slowed them down. Then
the final solution began or deporting of the Jews
or rounding up the Jews in the Soviet Union. After this
Extermination camps could kill more people a day. On
December 11 Hitler declared war on the United States.
And a lot of different Countries joined the war. By February
2 Germany was forced to surrender this is what Hitler
was responsible for mass executions of Jews about 6
million. He wanted to save Germany but destroyed it.

| Hitler married Eva Braun on April
29 1945. on April 30 1945 Hitler and Eva committed
suicide first it was Eva to die at 3:30 P.M. by
taking cyanide pills. then Hitler took cyanide
pills and shot himself in the right temple with a
7.65-caliber Walther pistol. they were cremated.
In 1970 there remains were dug up and destroyed. |
