Many experiments were held at Auschwitz. Some of the experiments were on treatments that would help fallen soldiers on the battle field, for example putting prisoners in ice cold water for hours to see if it could help half frozen soldiers on the field. And many other test, like poisoning them, drinking gasoline and much more. One of the doctors there was Mengele or the( Angel of Death). Mengele did a lot of experiments on dwarfs and twins. The prisoners were as guinea pigs there. There were many other doctors but many were untrained or unsupervised. |

In Auschwitz there were four main gas chambers capable of killing 6,000 per day. Those selected to die were undressed in a under ground dressing room, then put in the gas chamber it took 20 to30 minutes for the people to stop screaming and yelling. After this was done trusted men came and pulled the bodies out and took rings, gold teeth, women's hair, and more. Later on the bodies were put into big ovens which were called crematoriums were they burned the bodies to get rid of all the evidence. The killing areas made a turning point in the history of man's humanity to man. Birkenau's gas chambers could hold up to 2,000 people at one time. When the end was near ss attempted to remove all evidence of atrocities committed here. | ![]() |

The history of Holocaust is worth nothing because it tells of the coldness of the Hilters ideas. Auschwitz looks just like it did years ago. After the war was over, Many people made museums and memorials for the people that died at Auschwitz and all of the other Death camps and Ghettos that were ever made. |
Memories of Auschwitz will always be part of your mind and world and as hard as people try to forget it will never leave. But the people that went through it will know and try to not let it the torture and meanness happen once again. |
