Herman Goring became in control
of the Prussian Police in 1933. He organized them to his liking and then
renamed them the Gestapo. He did this
on April 26, 1933. The German spelling for the word is “genheinre staats
Polizei”. |

The Gestapo where professional
agents. This is different from the SS and SA. The SS and SA where just an
organization loosely assembled. The Gestapo Where trained in the arts of
torturing to get the truth out of people. This was one of the many gruesome the
things the where thought in training. Prior to Word War II they use brutal
methods to investigate and suppress resistance to the Nazi rule. |
|
The Gestapo Where use to spy on
people at all times. The Germans learned to keep there mouths shut when they even
When they slightly suspected that there was any Gestapo. Then if they where
caught or even suspected of betraying the Nazi government they would be
arrested, reeducated, or just simply disappear from the society. That is why
people fear and revered the Gestapo not only the Jews where scared of them.
They where used to round up the undesirable people in all the communities.
The Gestapo kept track of every person with block wardens. Even Regular
police where subject to the questioning of the Gestapo. |
||
The Gestapo where consolidated
with SD in the spring of 1934. The consolidation of the Gestapo and the SD
was the first step toward compete consolidation of the police. Two years
after that the Gestapo And the Kiminapolizie merged. |
||
During WWII The Einsalzguppen
emerged from the Gestapo. This became an important organization inside of the
Gestapo and the Gestapo depended on it highly. |
||
The Gestapo worked right behind
the German army. They cleaned up the trouble and the chaos that the Army left
in their path. |

When this was happing the
Gestapo in 1943 was subdivided into six more divisions. Those divisions where
lettered from A-f. Section a chiefly dealt with the Jews and was the only section
the chiefly do so. Section B dealt with political affairs, church sects, and
a little with Jewish affairs. Section C dealt with card files, protective
custody and matters of the press and party. Section D dealt with the regions
under German influence. Section E dealt with security. Section F was used to
